About the Von Bach Dam satellite map
Von Bach Dam lies on the Swakop River just outside Okahandja, about 70 km north of Windhoek, and supplies the capital with much of its water. Completed in 1970, it holds close to 50 million cubic metres and is run as the Von Bach Recreation Resort by Namibia Wildlife Resorts, with angling permits available from the resort office.
The dam is known for largemouth bass, carp and barbel. The satellite map shows the whole dam with its shoreline, bays and points, so you can plan your fishing before you launch.

Getting the Von Bach Dam map onto your Lowrance

- 2 Copy to the card Copy the map file onto a microSD card. If the download is a zip file, extract it onto the card instead.
- 3 Insert Put the microSD card into your Lowrance with the unit switched off, then switch it on.
- 4 Choose the map Choose the Mapster map from the chart menu. Menu names vary between models.
