Spioenkop Dam

Spioenkop Dam, located in Northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, is a significant water reservoir that impounds the Tugela River. Commissioned in 1972, it has a capacity of approximately 272,265 cubic meters and covers an area of 15.314 square kilometers. The dam is surrounded by the Spioenkop Nature Reserve, established in 1975, which spans about 4,400 hectares and offers a rich biodiversity
